Cancelled: Adam Westcott

We are very sorry to announce that Adam has had to cancel his scheduled appearance at this year’s Mananan Festival. He has sustained a hand injury and is unable to perform.  At this late stage, it is not possible to find a suitable replacement to maintain the integrity of the festival. We’re as disappointed as you are but we wish Adam a speedy recovery and have issued full refunds on any tickets purchased.

Congratulations to Rushen Players!

We’d like to say a massive EAC ‘thank you and well done’ to Adrienne and all her excellent cast at Rushen Players! There’s a ton of work involved in putting on a show and last week’s production of Priestley’s ‘When We Are Married’ drew great audiences over the three nights and was a real triumph. Well done folks! You did yourselves and the Centre proud.

Launch of Asila’s Song by Jackie Morrey-Grace

Original spoken word theatrical group, Penny Productions, present Asila’s Song and other spectacular tales. Mananan Festival 2022

We are very excited to announce that the Mananan Festival will be taking place this year from 27th June – 2nd July. Booking opened for Friends of Mananan last Friday and tickets go on general sale on Saturday 14th May at 10am online at TicketSource and at the EAC box office. We have a thrilling and varied week of shows, taking in folk, classical, theatre and flamenco – check our events page for full details.

Rushen Players – When We Are Married

Originally intended for our 50th anniversary last year, this production was halted by Covid. Now it’s finally here! This week, Rushen Players present J. B. Priestley’s comedy ‘When We Are Married’ from Thursday 12th – Saturday 14th. Tickets are available online at TicketSource and from the EAC box office. This was the first production to ever grace our stage way back in 1971; come down and find out what happens in the Helliwell’s living room!
