We’ve added a final event to this year’s Mananan Festival to wind down on Sunday afternoon. FREE EVENT The award-winning war novelist Shirley Mann, will be talking about and signing copies of her new book, ‘Bridget’s War,’ as the final event of this year’s festival. Snow day!

Update from Rushen Heritage Trust
The lecture series from Rushen Heritage Trust has been incredibly popular, especially when the content takes on a local spin. What would have been the final event in the series, a presentation about artist William Hoggatt, was initially cancelled but we’re happy to say this has now been replaced with a fascinating evening by local historian Peter Kelly. “Kelly’s Eye In Pictures” includes the pictures Peter put together for the Isle of Man Examiner Millennium [read more…]
George Todica lights up the Piano Series
We’d like say a huge EAC thank you to George Todica and everyone who came down and made Saturday’s Piano Series such a special event. The morning masterclass was informative and accessible, unlocking some of the themes and secrets of the evening programme and discussing life as a professional musician.
