We are dedicated to sustaining an environment where the process of creating
and performing the arts, in their many diverse forms, is valued, and
thus benefits our Island community
<(The Erin Arts Centre Mission Statement)
|
The Erin Arts Centre is the Isle of Man's premier Arts Centre for both amateur
and professional performers and events. Its life blood is the support
to be found in the Island community, from performers and artists to
those who help in the Centre's administration and future planning.
Everyone and anyone can play a part.
Be a volunteer
The Erin Arts Centre is staffed almost entirely by a
dedicated team of voluntary helpers. These are the people who man the
Box Office phones, help in the back office, operate the lighting and
sound systems, and steward at events - they keep the Centre running
efficiently. We always welcome applications from people who are able
to help in some way - follow the link for more information.
Erin Arts Club
As a member of the Erin Arts Club you would be directly
helping the future development of the Arts Centre in a wide variety
of projects and educational programmes.
Erin Art Group
The Erin Art Group provides an outlet for Island-based
artists working in all media to develop and display their craft. Professionals
and amateurs alike can take advantage of the Centre's fine gallery
facilities, and there are regular public exhibitions of the work produced.
Friends of the Festivals
The Mananan International Festivals are among the most prestigious events
in the British Isles and recordings have often been made by the BBC for broadcast. Friends of the Festivals enjoy many benefits
as well as taking an active role in making the Festival events hugely successful occasions.
Hire the Centre
The Erin Arts Centre's facilities and superb acoustics make it ideal for a wide range of events. If you are planning a concert,
meeting or conference why not hire the Centre for the occasion?
Support the Centre
As a nonprofit organisation, the Arts Centre relies to a large extent on voluntary financial support. Substantial restructuring
and improvements to the Centre have been made possible by the public's enthusiastic response to the Centre's various Appeals.
