September 24 @ 7:30 pm

Legends of the Blues delves into the fascinating lives and incredible music of the early pioneers of the blues.

This friendly event features a fun and informative illustrated talk by TEDx Speaker and musician John Gregory aka Blue John – plus plenty of live music.
It will uncover the true stories of the African American musicians whose music continues to resonate with millions around the globe.
The talk is suitable for anyone with a love of history and/or music – or anyone who is just dipping their toe into the wonderful world of this African American art form.

Legends such as Mississippi John Hurt, Big Bill Broonzy, Rev Gary Davis, Robert Johnson and many many more will be featured in this event.
For many years John Gregory has been passionate about the blues. He has toured with three of American’s top acoustic blues acts and promoted many blues shows by contemporary artists.
