A lonely Hawaiin girl named Lilo adopts a small, strange-looking dog from an animal shelter and names him Stitch. He would be the ideal pet if he wasn’t actually a genetic experiment who had escaped from an alien planet and crash-landed on Earth. Mischief and havoc ensue as Lilo tries to educate her pet in the Hawaiin concept of ohana, or family.
