Out of the working class smoke of Birmingham came 4 musicians. Their band?… Polka Tulk… They quickly changed their name to… Earth… but then they changed it again to… Black Sabbath. 

They would go on to define a new genre of music. Some would call it heavy metal. 

Some would call it a racket. 

They would influence thousands of bands from all over the world. That Latvian folk metal band? Yep, Sabbath influence. French death metal? Kiwi garage rock? Yep, Sabbath. Ballasabbath formed early 2025, featuring an all star cast of well known local musicians. Drawn together through their love of Sabbath, they performed their first gig on Port Erin beach to rapturous applause. The night promises to be an atmospheric celebration of all things Sabbath, and now with Ozzy’s passing, it promises to be a poignant tribute to the creators of heavy metal.
