Welcome to the Erin Arts Centre.

We are an internationally recognised arts centre in the lovely seaside resort of Port Erin in the Isle of Man. The little island nestles in the middle of the Irish Sea in the centre of the British Isles. As a registered charity, the Erin Arts Centre is a non-profit arts centre dedicated to presenting performing, vocal and visual art for the benefit of the Island community. Known for its groundbreaking music and opera programmes and its international competitions, the EAC is acknowledged to be one of the leading arts centres in the British Isles.

The 2018 Mananan Festival was very successful. Audience numbers surpassed previous years as we had 3 events completely sold out and 3 events with less than 6 seats available. The line up for next years Mananan Festival can be seen on our Mananan page but, as a lot of people were disappointed at not being able to get tickets for some events, we urge you to consider booking early next year. Tickets will be on sale in Spring 2019. A definite date will be announced here.

From 6th to 13th April 2019 we will be holding another Lionel Tertis International Viola Competition and Workshop.
The deadline for entering the Tertis Viola Competition has passed. We have had over 100 entries from all over the world. Over the next few weeks the judges will watch the DVDs and select 40 competitors for the next stage in April 2019. When the final competitors have been chosen we will put links onto the Tertis page for payment of the remaining entry fee and workshop fees. It is hoped that competitors who are not selected for the competition will be able to attend the workshops. The Tertis page now contains the link to download the test piece, Canto which was composed specially for the competition by Roxanne Panufnik. Further details are available on the Tertis page
