Sound of Metal (2019) – CANCELLED

We are really sorry but due to a technical problem, our screening of ‘Sound of Metal’ will not take place. All tickets will be refunded and we’ll hopefully be able to run this excellent film sometime in the future. Sound of Metal is a 2019 American drama film directed and co-written by Darius Marder and starring award-winning actor, Riz Ahmed. The stories have a common theme – that of greed.  The first, The Stalls of Barchester written M R James, is a gothic spine-chilling tale, set in the 1800’s. It tells of one Dr Haynes, an Archdeacon who acquires his status through unscrupulous means, and the dire consequences that await him.
