Where we are

The Erin Arts Centre is based in Port Erin, in the south of the Island, on the site of a former Methodist chapel. In 1971 the chapel building was rescued from dereliction and transformed into what is now one of the premier venues for the performing arts in the British Isles. The imposing façade of the chapel contrasts sharply with the elegant, more recent developments which house up to the minute facilities for all aspects of the arts - aural and visual.

How to find us

Whether you are a resident of the Isle of Man, a visitor, or intending to make the trip to the Island for a specific Erin Arts Centre event, the Centre is easily accessible. The Island is well served by air and sea services. Port Erin itself is on a major bus route and is no more than an hour away by road from any point on the Island. During the Summer, the Victorian Steam Railway terminates in Port Erin.

Visitors with disabilities

There are spaces for wheelchair users in the Centre and disabled car parking spaces nearby. There is also good access to the Box Office, bar and toilet facilities, and infrared equipment for people with impaired hearing.
